Garrison Girl: An Attack on Titan Novel is an English young adult novel based on the Attack on Titan manga, featuring an original cast of characters. It is written by American author Rachel Aaron and was first published by Quirk Books on August 7th, 2018.[1]

On April 4th, 2019, the novel was published in Japan by Kodansha split into two volumes, Attack on Titan: Roses on the Wall - Part 1 (進撃の巨人 果てに咲く薔薇(上) Shingeki no Kyojin ~Hate ni Saku Bara~ (Shō)?) and Attack on Titan: Roses on the Wall - Part 2 (進撃の巨人 果てに咲く薔薇(下) Shingeki no Kyojin ~Hate ni Saku Bara~ (Ge)?), as well as in a single volume, Attack on Titan: Roses on the Wall - Collector's Edition (進撃の巨人 果てに咲く薔薇 愛蔵版 Shingeki no Kyojin ~Hate ni Saku Bara~ Aizō-ban?).[2][3][4]

Plot

When the last vestige of the human race is threatened by unstoppable carnivorous giants, a brave young woman decides to defy her wealthy family and join the military garrison to battle humanity’s enemies. But Rosalie Dumarque soon finds that her dream of escaping the protection of Wall Rose not only leads to bloody sword fights with monsters, but exposes her to other dangers. Can she earn the trust of her fellow soldiers, stand up to a corrupt authority, navigate a forbidden romance...and cut her way out of a titan’s throat?[1]
