Jean (ジャン Jan?) was a member of the Scout Regiment in the live-action films Attack on Titan, The Movie: Part 1 and Attack on Titan, The Movie: Part 2. He was the live-action counterpart of Jean Kirschtein from the original Attack on Titan manga. He was portrayed by Takahiro Miura.
Jean had short hair which he kept pushed back on his head. He wore the standard Scout Regiment uniform.
Jean was stubborn and a bit of a temperamental; he enjoyed taking the lead when necessary, and demonstrated a deeper and more calculative personality as he developed. In spite of the fact that Jean's demeanor made him seem selfish, he was willing to sacrifice himself for the betterment of humanity.
- Eren - The two of them initially did not get along, as they would constantly bicker verbally, sometimes even physically. Jean was visibly annoyed with Eren's suicidal mindset, while Eren found him stuck-up and mocked him. Still, Jean found it in himself to have more sympathy for his peer, and fought with Eren until his death.
