Lauda (ラウダ Rauda?) is a team leader (班長 Hanchō?) in the Survey Corps Fourth Squad under the command of Hange Zoë. His current Military standing is unknown, as he is no longer a member of the Survey Corps.
Appearance
Lauda has neck-length brown hair that he keeps tied back. He is only ever seen wearing the typical uniform of the Survey Corps.
Personality
Lauda is a brave and conditioned soldier, demonstrated by the way he took charge of Team 2 under Hange's orders.
Story
The Female Titan arc
Lauda is among the soldiers who participate in the battle with Annie Leonhart in Stohess District. When Eren Yeager manages to temporarily stop Annie's attempt to escape Stohess, Lauda and others in the Fourth Squad attempt to cut off Annie's escape route.[3]
Clash of the Titans arc
After Bertolt Hoover and Reiner Braun betray the Survey Corps and attempt to kidnap Eren and Ymir, Hange Zoë attacks Bertolt, leaving Lauda in charge of Team 2.[2] The subsequent battle leaves Lauda seriously injured, and unable to participate in the mission to rescue Eren and Ymir.[4]
